What We Build / Education technology
Learning Platforms
Give knowledge a place to grow.
We build learning management systems and education platforms that bring courses, resources and learners together. Athena is one example of this work: a free, self-paced platform for practical technology education.

Athena ProjectPURPOSE
Accessible, self-paced learningThe challenge
A course needs more than a place to upload files.
Educational content becomes useful when learners can find it, understand its structure and work through it in a clear sequence. Educators also need a practical way to organise and maintain that content.
Our platform work connects those needs. We turn learning materials into online course experiences, bringing together the website, course organisation and the learner journey.
What we built
The infrastructure behind online learning.
From the Athena LMS to other platforms hosting educational courses, our work gives learning a practical digital home.
01 / ORGANISE
Course structure
Arrange learning content into courses and lessons, with clear entry points and a sequence that helps people know where to start and what comes next.
02 / DELIVER
Online learning spaces
Bring educational materials into a web-based platform so learners can access course content remotely and return to it at their own pace.
03 / NAVIGATE
Learner-facing websites
Connect the public course catalogue with the learning experience. Clear course information and navigation help people move from interest to study.
04 / MAINTAIN
Content management
Set up the platform around educational content, with a structure that supports publishing, organising resources and keeping courses useful over time.
Featured build / Athena
A platform for learning technology, at your own pace.
Athena is a free, self-paced technology learning platform developed and operated by our team. We built its website and learning platform, connecting beginner-friendly course content with a clear route into practical digital skills.
The platform hosts courses such as First Steps of JavaScript, Command Line & Dev Setup, Get into Git and GitHub, and WordPress Foundations.
Its online learning experience sits alongside an international Discord community, giving learners a place to ask questions and connect with peers.

Built for an international learning community.
1,500+ students · 60+ countries
These are the reach figures reported for the Athena initiative. They provide context for the platform’s use, alongside its courses and community.
Our contribution includes website and learning-platform development, learning design, resource development and continued improvement of the learner experience.
How we build
Connect the technology to the learning journey.
Start with the course
Map the materials and intended learning sequence before arranging the platform. The content and audience shape the experience.
Configure the platform
Bring together website structure, course delivery and content management. Athena’s development notes document WordPress-based website work and LMS planning.
Improve the experience
Review navigation, course visibility and learner-facing content. Athena’s implementation feedback records practical fixes to its homepage, catalogue and supporting pages.
From educational content to a learning experience
Design decisions
Make the next step easy to find.
Learning at the learner’s pace
Athena’s self-paced model lets people study without a fixed timetable, making the platform useful across locations and schedules.
Clear routes into courses
A course catalogue and organised content help beginners choose a starting point and understand how individual skills fit together.
A platform that can evolve
Education platforms need ongoing content and experience improvements. We treat the build as a foundation for learning that can continue to develop.
Athena is an Entelya Initiative. This page focuses on our learning-platform work; the initiative page covers its wider education and community activity.
